Arianna or Ari has had her life planned out by birth. As the daughter of the Chief of a small town, she is expected to marry young, make tons of babies and spend her life cooking and cleaning. But her life utterly changes when the Sword in the Stone drops into the Plaza of her town. As the legend goes, every hundred years the Sword will drop down into the town where the next reincarnation is currently living and every boy ages 12-18 will try to draw out the Sword but only the next incarnation can do it. When all the boys fail, all the girls are sent up to try and Ari pulls it out. She is pulled out of her home, taught to act and dress like a boy and sent to the Royal Palace with a warning not to tell anyone that she's a girl or the next reincarnation. Read to find a tale of adventure, betrayal, friendship, enemies and discovering who one truly is.
