Tylertown, Mississippi 1958
A young black woman named Ruby has been trying to keep her family safe and strong ever since her father left. With all the struggles she has in her life and being an African American she struggles to want and find love until a white man named Dave comes around and shows her things she has never tried/ done before. Their relationships brings dangerous consequences because of discrimination but hopefully they conquer together.
