This story is inspired by Persona 5 and was originally gonna be an x Reader until I realized something and changed it. I like to say I haven't been able to see the rest of the Persona which I totally should. The story is gonna be mostly POV on the main character from Persona than you. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories.
