She's been in and out of foster homes, but had never stayed in the same place for more than a month. Nobody seems to know how to deal with her. No one at the New York City foster home has been returned more than she has. Finally, Hope realizes that she doesn't stand a chance getting adopted. She packs up her belongings and escapes in the middle of the night, with nowhere to go but away from the Home. One day, her life is turned around in the most unexpected way possible.
