Kozarian Legends: War-Born

The screams of agonizing pain filled the midnight sky as the crackling of fire from the burning huts illuminated the pillaging raid onto the village. Rivers of blood flowed on the soil the villagers called paths between their homes as the raiding marauders raped the women, killed the men, and kid napped the children. Tears filled innocent eyes as the children watched their families, and fellow villagers, get befouled before them only to witness the slitting of the throats and to be left for dead.
It was that day in which I was forged, reborn. Taking an oath of revenge upon those that destroyed my home, killed my family, and slaughtered my people. Little did I know of what was planned for me, little did I know what really happened that day. I had forgotten it if not for the nightmares, if not for destiny and a fateful dare.
