Mrs. Mona McKorkle lived exactly as one might expect, given that she was on the cusp of withering away: she lived in a nursing home, her routine planned out by the minute, and her closest companion was a cat named Lola. Her pleasant, quiet existence was uprooted entirely when, out of the blue, a visitor named Henry Clark became one of her closer friends. Unbeknownst to Mona, Henry was not at all the pleasant man she had gotten to know: instead, he was a novice Angel of Death, which she came to know when out of the blue, he presented her with Enoch's Celestial Coat, one of the rare and precious Celestial Artifacts.

To Mona's surprise, that's not all. The coat had been laced with Enoch's Treasure, a jewel that permits travel through space and time, and soon Mona finds herself hurtled into a new life on the continent of Viktoria. The world is entirely different from the one she knows: its white deserts and mountainous landscapes are new to her, and everything is ruled by cogs and steam. Among the strange populace, she befriends a gunslinger and a runaway child who become her close companions on this entirely foreign journey. But when she meets a strange man named George Caspian, she learns that there is more to her, and she may fit into Viktoria more than she seems to. What happens, though, when the only one she knows from Earth is gone in a sudden turn of events? Can Mona, dealing with this new knowledge, survive alone in Viktoria when nothing is as it seems?

18+ Edited and Completed When Mira bumps into a man in the club, dressed in wings, she thought "What kind of an inconsiderate idiot wears wings to the club". Its only until she touches the wings that she realises that they are very much real. Within an instant, Mira's life is turned upside down. Knowing now that angels and demons are real and have been living amongst humans on earth for decades, she decides she needs to learn more about them and about the sight that she was gifted by this mysterious angel, Jenziel. One other thing bothered Mira. Where were the other women with the sight and why was she the only one to be gifted the sight? Did it have something to do with the broody, burly, yet strikingly handsome fallen angel who undoubtedly looked like he was dying to kill her? With Lucifer's demons hunting her down, time is running out for Mira. If Lucifer get his hands on her, he will use her to spawn more advanced demons. Can the fallen keep her and the rest of the mortals safe? Excerpt: "So, are you planning on telling me what happened in the city with the demons, or do I have to tempt Kazier into a make out session to get some answers?". Azriel used his annoying angel gift and speed walked me to the bathtub. The back of my knees hit the tub with a thud and I stumbled back into a seating position on the edge of the tub. I was leaning back uncomfortably and gasped in disbelief, nearly about to fall into the tub and hurt myself and grabbed onto the only I could; the band of his pants. Azriel's eyes dropped to where my fingers were gripping onto and slowly, he snaked his vision up to me. I watched him for a few seconds until he seemed to have snapped out of his thoughts. "You will do no such thing, you hear me? You will not try to entice Kazier". I shivered when he spoke, his breath tickling my face. I bit my tongue from refraining to say anything to upset him further but failed miserably. "Maybe...maybe I don't even have to try...".

India Rose & The Eternals - The Fountain Of Youth Chronicles Vol. 1 by TincanCaldwell
25 parts Complete
For fans of the Harry Potter universe, LOST and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: What if that really was the Mona Lisa that India Rose saw walking around her small, Maine town? What if her father's innocent bedtime stories of hidden mysteries below the river and secret identities of ordinary citizens were more than mere fairy tales? Why did her essay on her town's history make a few select town officials so angry? And why was young Finn and his master (who bears more than a passing resemblance to Leonardo da Vinci) sent across the sea to the new world on a mission to protect "the secret" that his order has been charged to guard? Told over the course of almost one hundred years and multiple continents, India Rose and the Eternals tells the parallel stories, told in concurrent chapters, of twelve-year-old India Rose and two-hundred-and twelve-year-old Finnegan Rufus Magondolovich (don't ask him about his middle or last names) who are both struggling to understand the upheaval in their own little worlds. Add to this the sinister Man In The Brown Hat and his shadowy organization, who are chasing Finn and his master across the globe, an oil spill that threatens India's coastal town, a stern Head Librarian who seems to have it in for India, and India Rose and the Eternals packs enough adventure and hairpin turns to keep readers turning pages. With strong themes of using your gifts and abilities for the good of others and the rise, use and abuse of technology, India Rose and the Eternals is the opening salvo in the expansive Water Chronicles universe, a series that takes contemporary notions of history and re-examines them.

She was abandoned by her mother on the doorstep of an orphanage run by nuns and was later thrown out of there too due to her unruly and 'unladylike' behaviour. She's been surviving on the streets for many years, stealing for food, rummaging in bins for clothes, scraps of metal or wood, which she uses as makeshift appliances, decorations and weapons. She's had a tough life, but it's made her into the strong, independent and fiery woman she is today. Ezra Beaumont, marquess of Winchester and future Duke, although thanks to his arrogance and narcissistic tendencies, he was sent to work down in the village with the local breadmaker in an attempt to humble him and make him a better person and better ruler by his parents the current Duke and Duchess of Winchester. Amelia's been trying to find her mother for as long as she can remember but all she has is a name. What neither Amelia nor Ezra knew, was that that name would connect them in a way neither would've ever imagined. She finds someone so broken under that cold exterior that she can't help but want to help him. They get thrown into a world of witches, wizards and magic and evil. They set off on a journey to become some of the most powerful witch and wizard to ever live, in order to defeat a great evil.
