He pushed me up against a wall, "Why'd you run again mate ?" His breath fanned across me, and I could smell his cologne; minty just like his scent. His voice was husky, and held power. His body language and his infectious smirk, was a dead give away that he was an Alpha. "I felt like it." I shrugged, ignoring his possessive growls. "You're mine, Faye!" I rolled my eyes, "I'm not a possession," I said pushing him away from me. He reached for me but I told him to stop. "Good boy," I petted him on the head, "Now sit!" I commanded. My mate's eyes flashed dangerously black, indicating his wolf was in charge. "Now Mr. Alpha," I said batting my eyelashes, "You don't like being treated like that, do you? Well than keep in mind, neither do I." I walked out of the room, leaving my mate looking puzzled.
