Caitlin is a seventeen year old girl with goals and a dream to act on Broadway. Her parents are very supportive in what she chooses to do. She's outgoing, gorgeous and smart.
Ryan is the town trouble maker, gets in trouble with police, smokes, gets drunk every other night, and can't hold a job. He has a hard time with commitment and staying faithful to one girl.
Both of them are completely different people on all levels on the spectrum. Neither of them have met before, but while at a party for all the seniors celebrating their last year of high school finished, they are forced to cross paths when a man in all black pulls out a gun and fires in the crowd of teenagers. Caitlin would've died if it weren't for Ryan. After that night nothing is the quite the same.
