Blake and Hanna were never considered close. They acquinted each other, but no more and no less.
Taking her own life, Hanna decided to make thirteen tapes. Thirteen reasons why she killed herself, and to Blake Foley's suprise, she finds herself on the tapes.
Finding out that Hannah commited suicide and that Blake was one of the reasons why, it nearly destroyed her.
