Russell raised his head, as if coming up for air and I saw the terrifying look on his face. This time it scared me. There were what looked like dark raised veins under his now black, empty eyes; they looked savage. His mouth was smeared with red, his teeth dirtied with blood. I almost didn't recognise him. His movements became more feral, more primitive and less human. He looked like a wild animal on top of me, devouring his prey. It terrified me; was this really what happened after I blacked out? Had he made me black out so I hadn't seen what he really became? "STOP!" I screamed out. He couldn't hear me. 

Indie is a witch, her powers bend the elements but with half of her powers undiscovered, she moves to America with her mum to seek help. The help however ends up coming from an unconventional source.
