Ella has a hard life, her best friend committed suicide and her mom keeps taking her to therapists with the idea that her daughter is ill.

For the past 2 years Ella spends her days in and out of clinincs, doctors saying she's okay , till one day she stumbles on to her next therapist, Doctor Hemmings. A cute doctor, understanding her mom's needs , but more curious about this girl and why she listens to her mom when she has the freedom to leave.
