When a hiking group goes on their yearly hike, the world unexpectedly changes. They flee the trails when they hear what seem to be blaring sirens. They come across a dug out hold in the mountain on their trail in which they take cover. There are sounds of distant explosions. They're not just bombs either, they're missles. After hours of explosions and fear, the war amongst them comes to an end. When they see what is left of not only the city but the world around them, they drop to the ground in hope that it is all just a dream...
AN: If there are any grammar or spelling errors, don't be afraid to let me know, I love to improve my writing and my works.
I plan to uodate the stroy about 2-4 times a week depending on my schedule...

They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind.
