When a hiking group goes on their yearly hike, the world unexpectedly changes. They flee the trails when they hear what seem to be blaring sirens. They come across a dug out hold in the mountain on their trail in which they take cover. There are sounds of distant explosions. They're not just bombs either, they're missles. After hours of explosions and fear, the war amongst them comes to an end. When they see what is left of not only the city but the world around them, they drop to the ground in hope that it is all just a dream...

AN: If there are any grammar or spelling errors, don't be afraid to let me know, I love to improve my writing and my works. 
I plan to uodate the stroy about 2-4 times a week depending on my schedule...

Travis, Darcie, Dawson, Tori, Leo, Levi, Kaylie, Hunter, and Anthony have no business knowing each other, let alone being a team. But during a zombie apocalypse, when you get desperate, you're desperate. When you're out of options, you need to do what you need to do to survive every day. Sometimes, it might not always be ideal. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete. Comments would be great to see so we know if something needs to be fixed or if it's a good story.

People always wanted to unwind from school works and other personal problems. It might be going to parties, travel out of town or fly to other countries, or just having an adventure with mother nature. A group of students had a sudden boredom of clubbing and bar hopping every week. They thought about having an adventure instead. That is, away from their city that never sleeps. Kim found a spot outside their town, everyone agreed and was excited to be there. They already had plans on what to do when they get there. All of them packed their things and go. That adventure was new to all of them and they love it. The smell of fresh flowers and the cold breeze was refreshing. Vibing with a song and sing together while swaying their bodies inside their van. But the question is, did their adventure went well? Or... The smell of fresh flowers will be replaced by the smell of fresh blood.

What happens wen the human kind starts to dig old hidden things that should continue hidden and protected? What happens wen a perfectly frozen dead body gets unfrozen? Everything started wen an expedition went wrong in taiga, one of the biggest forests that covers 10% of the Earths ground passing through the far northern reaches of Europe, Asia, and North America. Is the human Race safe? Are vampires really the beautiful, dangerous creatures all teen movies showed or just "zombies" wanting chaos, flesh and blood?

April 22 I've been walking for days, they're still tracking me though. i sleep high in the trees, I double back, walk in the river, cover my tracks, start false trails...it's all slowing me down but it's really the only chance I have. I'm on foot. I'm alone. The day the grid went down I was in the mountains and I stayed put for over a month, unable to contact anyone. The electricity is out, the phones don't work, no running water, no cars, no radio...nothing. It's dangerous to go into towns now, survivors are scared, starving and dying by the thousands, but their bodies seem to just disappear. Sometimes I hear screams in the night that sound like they come straight from the depths of Hell, and the scent of sulphur and rot rides on the breeze when the heaviest clouds block out the sun. I think it's the thing that got Dan...the thing that's almost gotten me. Whatever it is, it's completely unnatural and I just know I have to stay ahead of it or I'll be just as dead as Dan is.

We all thought we were the ones at the top of the food chain, completely untouchable. However it was like I said, we 'thought' we were. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me.
