Nachdem die 28-Jährige Josephine ihren Suizidversuch überlebt hat wacht sie orientierungslos im Krankenhaus auf und ist mit ihrem Leben konfrontiert. Zunächst einmal schickt sie ihre Lebensgefährtin in die Wüste und setzt sich dann weiter mit sich und ihrer Zukunft auseinander - was macht man nach einem Suizidversuch? Wie macht man weiter? Ein Scherbenhaufen, der sich ihr Leben nennt, macht ihr schwer zu schaffen. Und wer versucht aufzuräumen findet so manchen Schatz, doch Scherben schmerzen und passt man nicht auf, schneidet man sich an ihnen. Da taucht auf einmal diese Mail in ihrem Postfach auf. Zehn Jahre alt und von sich selbst an ihr jetziges, älteres Ich geschrieben. Es erinnert sie an die Leichtigkeit des Lebens, gleichzeitig wirbelt die Mail nicht nur in ihr Postfach, sondern auch in ihr Leben und mischt die Scherben, die sie gerade mühevoll wieder zu ihrem Leben zusammenpuzzelt durcheinander. Wird sie ihre Leichtigkeit zurückgewinnen und das puzzeln lernen?

Especially, when you hate the girl who's killing you. the thing is, I never got to say goodbye- they all think I left on my own accord because I didn't like Harumi, and I'll never see them again. What started as an innocent romance, spiralled into the end of Ninjago and to my inevitable slaughter. Hi! I'm Dokgo Blue. I know that's not the most Korean name but it's what my mother named me. She wasn't Korean, she was actually American and met my father on her business trip to Korea. If you didn't notice, I said 'she was'. Well, fun fact, she isn't with us anymore. She died in a car crash. This lead to my two older brothers taking all of the money off of my father, taking the house and leaving us in a small apartment in Daegu. The place I was born. At the start of secondary school I skipped classes a lot. By a lot I mean I was there, at the most, twice a week. My father knew about this since whenever I was skipping school I would come straight home to my piano. Honestly I learnt more from him than I ever would actually being at school. Dear Diary, Have you ever felt like the whole world is caving in on you and there's nothing you can do to stop it? That's how I feel everyday. I constantly feel like i'm suffocating and I hate it. I don't want to feel this way anymore, I can't handle it. I want to be able to walk out of my door and not care about how others may be looking at me or what they're thinking when I walk down the street. I want to be able to embrace my unique traits but I just can't seem to look past societies beauty guidelines. I'm being ruled by magazines cutouts and models that wouldn't even look at me twice in the streets. I can't talk to people about this because they just wouldn't understand what i'm going through and would tell me that it's just a phase and that it'll be over.
