Arielle Landin hasn't believed in fairy tales since her parents died four years ago. No matter how hard she wishes otherwise, all the pixie dust in Neverland can't bring them back. Her happily-ever-after was a hospital bed. The magic? An eating disorder.

Now seventeen, Arielle's put all that behind her. She's fine. Really. Only she's not so sure anymore. Enter a school play and a best friend, Nick Rigas, who only wants the truth--the real truth--and Arielle can't pretend anymore. Add in her suddenly non-platonic feelings for Nick, and things only get worse.

The only way to put her demons behind her is let people in. But revealing her true self could mean losing everything she has left--especially Nick--and that's a risk Arielle can't afford to take.

After all, do villains even deserve happy endings?
