"Why now Nathan?" I yell, letting my limbs fly anywhere they please. "I don't know! I could have asked you the same thing." I watch as he remains sitting in his wheelchair running his hands through his hair in aggravation. "I'm not doing this, I can't. I'm done hurting everyone, especially myself." I whisper, walking out the door into the humid night while tears run like rain down my cheeks. - Everliegh Connor's is the epitome of the struggling adult and wanna be supportive older sister. But as much as she wants it, she falls short. Now back home she hopes to be welcomed with open arms by none other then her childhood best friend. Little did she know that his arms were a little preoccupied. Somehow, Everliegh finds herself stuck in the middle of pleasure and her family's approval, or what little of one she has left. This being one of the reason she's so hesitant to go after what she wants. What happens when Nathan and Everliegh are stuck in the same car for days on end...together? When Everliegh realizes what she wants and goes for it? How will the family react when their golden child suddenly turns into the black sheep to get what she has been chasing after all these years?
