"My mind tells me to give up. But my heart won't let me."
Roselynne Johnson is not your typical 16 year old, she's a girl with a troubled past. After her mother's death when she was 8, and her brother leaving her, Roselynne started hanging with the wrong crowd and things went very wrong. She made a deal with her father that she'd change schools and move in with her siblings to get as far away from her nightmare as possible.
Now, Roselyne is the new girl at a new school in a new town. New school means new friends and Roselynne finds herself becoming friends with a crazy group of individuals. She tries to have a normal life for her last two years of high school, but is that possible? What will her new friends think of her past? Will she even tell them? Can she escape her nightmare? Or will her past find her?
A story about love and friendship, being young and having fun, living with a haunting past, and figuring out life.
