Broken Wings (Donatello x OC)

This story fills in spaces between episodes of TMNT 2012 with minor changes to some episodes' contents. I advise following the episodes in order to have a better understanding of events. I do not own tmnt 2012, any version of tmnt or have any affiliation with any creators or owners. This is purely a fanfic.

Donatello has been off as of late. Feeling lost and distant from everyone and everything ever since the passing of Splinter. And he isn't the only one. Everyone is trying to "get back on the horse", but with the Vizioso incident hanging over his head, Donatello feels like he's walking around with more baggage than the others, adding it to his forever growing pile of regret and failures. Things take a unexpected turn when a mysterious girl with a complicated past shows up in New York with a important delivery for AprilI claiming it is has to do with April's mother. Who is this girl? What is her connection to April's mother? What other secrets is she hiding? What effect will these events have on Donatello and the others? Can Donatello help her or will she help him? Will this heal Donatello or destroy his world?

Story takes place in TMNT 2012 after Season 5 Episode 4. There are IMMEDIATE SPOILERS!!! I do advise watching the series up to that point, at least, to understand the story, but it's not entirely necessary.
