"It's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." No. I do not believe that. Never knowing what love is like is way better. If you never experience love, you can't hope for it. You can't dream of it, wish for it, covet the idea of it. And you can't be crushed when those dreams come falling down, and in my experience, they will fall. Your hopes will be crushed, you dreams fall flat, your wishes are foolish, and what you covet is fleeting. Never knowing love is better than feeling it and spending your whole life hoping for it, only to shatter when it doesn't happen.

Pale Blue Love

12 parts Complete Mature

Love has such a chokehold. Fairytales have paint it in such a way that, even the most clevder believe that, if given the efort, love will prevail. I have found that you cannot keep a love that does not want to be kept. They will do anything in their power to get to the coresponding tenderness of another heart. Fairytales are just that, tales. Life is cold, hard, and painful. But this was a journey I had to make to learn and understand life's bittersweet taste.
