At 5:13am one Sunday morning a fire seized hold of Leah's family home in the outskirts of National City, killing both her parents and little brother Noah. Since then she'd been living in Stellar Brooke's children's home. Everyone else in her life seemed to come and go - children would only stay in the home for a couple of months before getting their happy ending but one day someone bumped in to Leah who decided to stay. Forever.

My name is Kara Danvers. When I was 13, I lost my parents in a tragic lab accident, but I was lucky enough to be adopted by the Danvers family. Now, at 16 and a junior in high school, I thrive in basketball, playing alongside my older sister, Alex. Despite the challenges I've faced in my past, I try to keep a positive outlook, which a lot of people seem to appreciate. However, there's one girl, Lena Luthor, who I've noticed since the first day of junior year. It feels like she dislikes me most of the time, except when we're at my house, where we share secret glances and enjoy hanging out with my friends.
