A car's horn blared and made me deaf for a minute, our tires screeched in unison but fortunate for me our cars did not touch, his front was one inch away from my passenger door.  I stepped out my car with anger building up inside me, I wanted to scream at the driver. When the driver came out, I stood there stunned. He was tall, handsome, blonde hair, blue eyes, he was dreamy. 'Snap out of it Jules' a little voice told me, I was totally gonna be late for school.   "Oh shit, i'm so sorry. Look it's my first day at North Ridge and I didn't want to be late. I was 100% sure that I was gonna make that light, guess I was wrong.. By the way i'm Daniel" He sounded sincere, well maybe I was just distracted by his looks but the feeling of being mad or angry was gone 'god dammit Jules you have Christian, stop yourself'. "Well Daniel looks like we're both gonna be late, I go to North Ridge too. If we have classes together I could show you around. "Alright, it's 12 noon. Deal or not?" I couldn't look at him, so I stared at the beauty in front of me. Somehow I knew he was watching it too. I felt like we were characters of a famous story, standing side by side, gazing ahead. I hesitated, my heart was beating fast, I was almost afraid that he's going to hear it too. But for the first time in my life, I trusted my heart and told my brain to go to hell. The girl lead in this story was going to do what she wanted, and won't fear the consequences. "Let's do this." I said and turned towards him. We remained silent for a couple of moments, absorbing the meaning of the deal we just agreed to. And then I saw his lips turned upwards just enough for me to notice. He turned to me and held my hand. I felt several emotions just by touching him. Nervousness, excitement, fear, happiness all at once. I pushed them all aside, and smiled ear to ear. He held his hand up, counting down to three, my heart racing with every finger he raised. And just as he finished, we jumped off the cliff.

And I very much wanted to take the plunge and drown in them. She started to lean closer to me but stopped when I opened my stupid mouth said the last thought I'd had, "Impressive, did your man teach you how to work on his car?" Obviously, it was not what she waited for me to say at that moment and whatever connection had began was just as quickly DISconnected , because she gave me, what I'm assuming was supposed to be a death glare, but really she just managed to look cute with her little nose scrunched up. "Ex-cuse me!?" she almost yelled, she looked hurt. Oh damn, "What?" Shit, I had been drooling so much over her scent that my mouth didn't process the words through my brain before releasing.
