Lurching up, she gasped for breath as she looked around in the darkness for a gray silhouette. But no one was there. At least, no one she could see. Crawling backwards, she tried slinking into the darkness, to become a part of it. She wanted to hide and be safe.
Her hand touched something. Something cold and rough.
Gazing down, she saw her hand was touching a shoe. But that wasn't all. It belonged to someone that she had seen before. Slowly looking up, she saw that same, gray face staring down at her.
Screaming, Lilac clambered backwards.
Lilac is different from everyone else. After having strange visions, even stranger things happen. A shadow comes, and watchers are around every corner. What is happening to her? Is this all because of her? She was always called a nobody, no one. But this could prove something different. Something good . . .or something just the opposite . . .
