She's always had a talent for art, rendering people breathless once they saw her work. Hadley was involved in extracurricular activities, making banners, and assisting the decorating committee.

However, all of this changed one fateful night.

It was supposed to be a night out with her friends, acting doltish and carefree. But things quickly took a turn for the worst when her best friend, Alexandria, passed away. Going through such a traumatic experience caused Hadley to isolate herself from those closest to her for fear of losing another in such a painful manner.

Aiden Collins is the attractive new guy that every girl wishes they could have. He's witty, smart, and kindhearted. He instantly develops an interest in Hadley, determined to be her friend. Even with Hadley's attempts to drive him away, Aiden does not get deterred by her sarcastic remarks.

But pushing Max away is like trying to tame a wild lion that has just been released from its cage. Max is unstoppable. My mother once said that if a guy is really into you, he will pursue you no matter what. I think I know now how it feels. I just don't know how to handle my heart. Because every time his piercing eyes land on me, I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my chest. © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.
