Her fingers curled as her eyes finished one of the many pages of her book. He stared at her from a far distance.

He was new and didn't know her. Yet he always came back to watch her read a book at the local library every day. Whenever she was about to get up, the boy bolted so she wouldn't be able to see him.

His name was Nathan Carter, a new sophomore in the little town of Psychoville. The beautiful girl was Athena Adams, a sophomore as well but has been in the town all of her life. She was known for many things, mostly for her eyes. Nathan has never looked her in the eyes before when he does, his heart stops.

The teenage boy was very quiet, too shy to speak to her. Until one day, he finds her in the woods, writing. After that, their rollercoaster of a life begins.

"You deserve to be happy, Athena."

"I don't ask for happiness just less pain, Nathan." She typed and erased it after my eyes glanced over the words that laid on her screen.

"Everyone deserves happiness though. Even the worst people do." I replied.

           "Are you happy?"

I didn't know which answer I should choose. "Yes," I lied. She snorted under her breath at my answer.

"Why are you lying to me and yourself?"

"How else am I supposed to prove my point?" I chuckled, playing my answer off.

           "I don't like liars."

"Would you rather have me not say anything?"

"Silence is better than bullshit. Why do you think I don't talk? I would rather not talk to people who talk a lot of useless shit."

I was honestly taken back by her words. Did I talk a lot of shit? Is that why she doesn't talk to me? Oh fuck, I already messed up my chance with her. Nice one, Nathan...

"I hope you find the happiness you are pretending to have."

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. Reality or a dream? A really good dream, a dream you can almost touch. A dream that laughs and smiles; kisses and loves you. A dream that's not a dream at all. A dream that's HER. ...x...x...x... "I want to kiss you." She didn't take her eyes off of mine- her words were all the incentive I needed. I placed my kisses on her neck, sucking and nibbling lightly. I wasn't sure where this was going. We weren't going to go too far with both Dan and Grace now sleeping in the back. "Keep going." It was barely a whisper, just two words that escaped in between a moan. My kisses travelled up towards her jaw. "God just kiss me Montgomery." She smiled and pulled my face to hers. It wasn't slow. It was fast and filled with static. She moved her hips slightly, pushing me into the seat with her kiss. I moved the hair out of her face and pushed back but my head met the chair once again. God. Her hands ran up and down my spine and curled round my waist. "We should stop." I rushed all the words out at once. We should stop. I didn't want to. I kissed her again and she rocked her hips back and forth. Fuck. "You're right." She tugged at my hair and we didn't stop kissing. "We can't. We can't." I held her face in my hands and took my time to breathe. I could still taste her in my mouth and it took everything I had not to kiss her again.

I bit my tongue, regretting that remark. "The other girls can't possibly compare to my pretty girl." He ignores the question, his eyes scanning my face for any signs of a reaction to his charm. "My lovely.." He pulled my arm towards him. I felt a slow kiss on the back of my hand. "Sweet.." then another on the other hand. "-golden heart girl." He looked up through his eyelashes. I stay silent as I looked around the room, avoiding eye contact. He placed his free hand on my waist, the other still holding my hand. "Shall I call them over while I have you bent over this bed?" He says planting a kiss on my stomach, going lower each time. I run my free hand through the back of his hair, gently pulling his head back slightly, forcing him to look back up at me. He had a dangerously evil smile on. I knew my cheeks were going red, I pushed him away and rushed towards the the door. "You always do this." I mumble quietly, trying to catch my breath which I lost in the heat of the moment. "Would you be lying to me if you said you didn't like it?" He replied, walking over to me. I kept my mouth shut. ~ ~ ~ Most confusing Love V/ triangle trope you'll ever find¡¡ Sequels out!¡ !!Inspiration from Nikkireadw!!

"You say you love me, yet you try to rip me apart limb by limb. I may not break easily, but the way you keep wearing me out all the time - well - I might as well just be made of paper. That way you wouldn't have to try hard to break me. One tear with your fingers and that's it. I'd be done for. Too bad that's not going to happen." *** "I want a kiss." He leans in a little, just enough to touch my hair. "Did you dye your hair purple?" he smirks, his famous smirk. I smack his hand away and he steps back. "It looks nice." He says softly. It sounded genuine. Like, 'the Carter Daniels' was actually giving me a compliment. He laughs, knowing I didn't expect him to say that to me. "Thanks." I say softly. Then, I casually lean into him, so close I can feel his breath hitch and his heart race. "Do you still want that kiss?" I whisper, seductively. Carter is frozen in place. I guess he wasn't expecting me to tease him back. I wasn't either. Now, it's like my body and mind aren't the same. But, I had to admit, it was fun teasing him like this. *** On the surface Lila seems like your everyday teenager in her junior year of high school, but if you look a little deeper, you will see something dark and uncertain lingering in the depths of Lila's life. Lila has always gotten out of her conflicts with her shyness, whether it be with her 'friends' and their abuse or Kevin's (Lila's older brother) best friend, Carter and his constant tormenting. But, when she decides to finally fight back against the binds that trap her from freedom, will Lila cower under the fear of her 'friends' or will she finally find her voice and free herself from the darkness that never wants to leave her? Finding Her Voice focuses in on a teenage girl's life named Lila. Follow her story as she gets into rancid blood baths with her (sort of) friends, trades insults with her older brother's best friend, and takes advice from her smarter, younger brother.

In the first second that I laid my eyes on you, everything that I have ever wanted out of life flashed right before my eyes. I could envision us going on picnics, stuffing our faces until we felt sick, holding hands until there was nothing but sweat between us, and introducing you to my parents in hopes that they would love you just an ounce of the way that I loved you. I could see us fighting over the remote only to end up not paying attention to the television program at all. And most of all, I could see you meaning something special to me- being that one consistent person in my life. But that second soon ended and I did not even know your name. Avery Davenport is an artist chaos. On the outside, a girl with her head in books, paint on her fingertips, and one foot in front of the other. On the inside, a girl with hate in her heart, regret in her veins, and self-loathing in her every system. Following a tragic turn of events, she begins to spiral. A tragic and fatal ending that she didn't have the answers to completely causes her to unravel. Pain slowly begins to be masked in the beds of the boys she meets, in her dark and quiet room, and subsequently on the ledge of her dorm room balcony. She didn't believe in hope or happy endings, never having conjured up one for herself or others, not until she met him. Dean Carter is all things remarkable. On the outside, a boy with ironed clothes, hair always perfected, and an ever dashing smile that could melt one's every sorrow. On the inside, a boy with cognizance in his brain, hope in his veins, and loneliness in his heart. Everything in his life has happened according to plan. His every happiness stems from medical books, sunsets, and seeing his loved ones smile. He has never been in love, never so much as thought about a girl beyond what left her lips, not until he met her. Please read the foreword for trigger warnings and disclaimers. [Highest Rank; #3 in Humor 3/27/17] --- I was unable to keep myself from blushing. "I'm not his girlfriend." "Yet." Ryder and Benjamin said simultaneously. "Oh, so the conceitedness runs in the family?" I asked with a roll of my eyes. "I'm afraid so. Now, tell me more about yourself." "Well, I like playing soccer a lot. And if I were to choose between my books and human beings, then I choose books. Also, I think your brother is annoying and has too big of an ego. But wanna know something?" He nodded. I stopped the car at the traffic light and turned back to him. Leaning into his ear, I whispered loud enough for Ryder to hear, "I think I like him." --- The art of breaking hearts is an inscrutable, prepossessing, abstract art. Never ever will you go through with breaking someone's heart without having your own broken. And it would be very eccentric if one did not go through the process of having their own heart shattered into millions of pieces when trying to do the same to another. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way. --- [extended description inside] Copyright ©2016 sadreadingchick All rights reserved.
