Lily is a 10 year old girl living with an abusive mother, a smart brother, sporty sister, and a inventor dad. When she is home alone the world suddenly goes to hell. The bloodthirsty dead are walking among the people and are ready to kill. She waits in her house for a year before she runs out of food and needs to leave. That is when she meets a group of people and gets to meet a boy who will be her greatest weakness and greatest strength.
