Belle was never quite the same after her encounter with the mysterious woman. Once powers start to emerge, she runs away to keep her father safe and goes to a castle that was supposed to be abandoned, but with her look, why didn't she expect it not to be? Finding talking inanimate objects isn't even the weirdest thing in the castle, and having to deal with a temperamental best was not in Belle's plan to hide out in the woods for all eternity, but when does life ever go according to plan?

This story follows the outline of the traditional story pretty well with some changes to make it seems more real, more intense, and not such a fairytale. There's a Mansion secluded in the thick forest south of town that Isabelle happened to run into one very stormy night. Denied help from the Master, but aided by the servants, she finds her life intertwined with theirs and there's nothing she can do to stop it. The Master is horrible - beastly. He's powerful, and manages to put Isabelle under a spell of his own. A story of two people learning about themselves by falling in love with the other. This is a clean romance. All I wanted from tonight was to sneak out of the ball to read in the castle's grand library and suddenly the prince is guiding me to safety even though he's the one they're after. In the morning we find out that the Light of the Realms was stolen and the castle is on lock down. All the guests from the ball must be tested to see who committed the crime and to top it off the Light of the Realms was what kept this kingdom safe and without it armies are moving in. Will we find the Light of the Realms before it is to late? Will the prince be ready to lead this kingdom into war if he has to? This is a sweet middle grade/ young adult romance. It is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Warning: This is a rough draft! So there will be spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. This story is similar to the beauty and the beast story but takes place in modern times. Isabelle Beaumont is nineteen years old and absolutely beautiful. Her brown hair reaches all the way to her waist and her green eyes are breathtaking; as told to her by a very annoying and very stubborn Stephan. She visits her grandmother in France and is once again told the story of the untamed beast. The legend says that many years ago when knights and mythical creatures walked the earth there was an untamed beast who vanquished an entire kingdom and to this day still lives in the castle. It is said the only way to tame the beast is to show it how to love. Belle finds this childish but when her grandmother is taken by the beast her only choice is to take her place and stay. He had an entire army of servants there to attend to his every need, most of which were there since his childhood. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. Carmen begs for her fathers freedom and the beast allows him to live if his only daughter agrees to live the rest of her life in this castle with the beast. Carmen agrees to live with the beast in his castle and as time goes on she begins to realize that this castle and the beast himself are not all that seem to be.
