It is the hottest day in the summer of 1965 in Jackson, Mississippi. The March on Washington and the words of Martin Luther King JR ring loud and clear in the town, yet crowds have congregated around the town square with only hatred on their minds.
They are determined to remove a 12 year old black boy who sits at the foot of the town monument, a stone sculpture he is determined to paint. A sculpture began by his father who perished at the hands of the KKK weeks earlier.
In this short story, on this hot, sweltering afternoon, hatred and prejudice will attempt to deny the love of a son to honour the memory of his father, but this 12 year old has only one purpose. To remain there and finish the work.

I came up with it just so the movie Willow would be in sounded realistic and good but I couldn't let it go so I wrote this book based off of it but with a few changes added after finding out there's apparently already a movie similar to the movie mentioned in 'Bunny'. Prince Nelson and Michael Jackson were two teenagers living in Moscow in the late 1930s, where segregation was at its peak. In a school where there were only 25% colored people in a 75% white school, they had to face discrimination, prejudice, and abuse from their white classmates and teachers. They had to use separate facilities, with colored restrooms being dirty and unkempt while white restrooms were cleaner and better maintained. They also had to use separate water fountains, with white people's fountains being filtered and clean, while colored people's were poorly filtered and gross. Despite facing segregation and discrimination at every turn, Prince and Michael were known to each other but were not really friends. They were however in the same friend group and circle. They were Living in a school that seemed to be stacked against them. "Strangers in Moscow" is a fan fiction set in the 1930s. Prince wasn't too fond of michael, the two didn't really interact due to their lack of similar personalities and taste. Prince thought that michael acted too "Naive" and "Gullible" and michael didn't really pay prince any mind at all. Being the difference I want to see in the world.
As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me? How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature". The choices we make in life can make or break us. However, some people make choices out of selfish reasons; not knowing their actions at the present time will have repercussions in the future. We are told not to worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow is not promised. That could be very well true. However, what if tomorrow is promised; how would you reexamine yesterday? What would you do differently today? How would you prepare for tomorrow? We are told to live for today, however, the question is-how many people live for "today?" If you are living for "today" at the end of the day, could you say you took care of all of your responsibilities? Each day has a purpose; each day creates a memory, and each day should be precious. Ask yourself-did you put your best foot forward? Or did you point fingers at everyone else instead of focusing on what you need to improve?
