"Athena! You have to tell me, that's the only way I can help you," he had hurt written on his face. For once, it actually felt like someone cared for me. My bottom lip quivered and my eyes burned, "Please?" his eyes begged for me to tell him and I didn't want to hurt him,

"M-my family," I murmured as the tears poured out of my eyes, "They hate me," Looking into Chris' eyes, I noticed that I had his full attention, "They kept me locked in the basement. Rarely giving me food. Whenever I spoke out, they would hurt me. My brother- he..." by then I was full on crying, barely able to breathe. Chris wiped my tears and pulled me into his chest, "He raped me," his heartbeat sped up and his eyes were full of rage. Chris had saved me, loved me, cured me, and I can't even tell him the complete truth.
