Law of Balaam is a post apocalyptic retelling of the New Testament. The world is now a barren wasteland after World War III. Corrupt government officials run the world and the Holy scripture is something people must huddle together underground to read, for it is illegal. The economy is even worse than its leadership. Parents are forced to sell their daughters into prostitution to pay off their debts, and the sons must choose to become part of the military. Hopelessness is at an all time high. Boob is one of the girls taken from her family. Doomed to an oversexed fate, she is rescued by a mysterious man called Liam. Figuring that its safer to travel with someone else through the harsh 50 desert, she becomes his servant. Now they must survive bandits, mutants, man eating radioactive sand worms, ninjas and eachother.

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. (Deal with this really bad cover please. It's temporary.) One night, Derek Garcia was having the night of his life. The next day, everything went to hell. The Deads- flesh eating monstrosities- cut him off from a safe zone and separated him from his friends. After the death of the only friend that he considered family, Derek manages to survive on his own for a while before meeting a girl named Star. From there, he's thrown into a new community with new people and his number one rule gets thrown out the window when new bonds are formed. These things....they're Dead But Not Gone.
