Mystery Blakhart is a Hunter, despite how much she dislikes her title. Hunters are a small part of society who hunt down Turned humans who went rogue, as well as any vampires who disobey the laws. Her entire family, especially her father, expects her to remain headstrong and unaffected from her work. However, the nightmares she has from her assignments haunt her every waking step. Unexpected encounters in this story will fracture her, but she'll have to put herself back together; dangers are starting to rise in her city, and if she doesn't come to terms with her lifestyle, she may end up falling to them.
