Remus Lupin has always lived a life of secrecy and isolation. Ever since he was young he has suffered from a terrible affliction called Lycanthropy. As a Lycanthrope, or werewolf, he has the ability to transform into a hybrid wolf- like creature. While in his wolf form he has no control over himself and his wolf self forces him to do terrible things.

He lives in fear that someone would one day discover his secret. People like him are considered to be dangerous and should not have a place in society. This idea evolved from several rumours about the Dark lord forming a mass werewolf army to strike down the forces that threaten him. Out of fear, the ministry excludes werewolves from society.

One day Remus challenges this idea. He gets enrolled into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Will going to this school expose him to everyone? Will he be punished for setting foot in the school? Or would he finally be accepted for who he is? Would he finally have a place to call home?

Sirius Black has been disowned, Remus Lupin is struggling with the reality of being a werewolf. Neither of them knows what their futures hold. When Remus doesn't show up at Hogwarts, Sirius is faced with the challenge of moving past old quarrels and helping his friend. Is he worthy of Remus? Is he worthy of his friends? Warnings: Some homophobia, implied childhood abuse, physical fighting, coming out Exciting update! Part 2 is now being posted under the title "And Yet, The Sun Still Rose - A Collection of Wolfstar Stories." I also have a Regulus fanfic that is complete and available to read if you are interested! Part 2: Sirius and Remus are in love, but the world is shifting, and the Marauders are growing older. Soon, they will have to leave Hogwarts and find their own way through the world among the growing turmoil in the wizarding community. These are stories of love, friendship, family, and sometimes pain that shape the Marauders during their final years at Hogwarts and beyond. Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within. All I hope is that these stories can bring you joy, entertainment or even just a short escape as they did for me all those years ago.

a ginger-haired girl and a platinum blonde boy, bicker their way into each's hearts... My name is Rosalie Lillian Marie Lupin. Remus Lupin is my adoptive dad. My parents died when I was a baby. He's the only family I have left. Well I also have an older brother in the world, I've never met him. We're 1 year and 6 days apart. Remus raised me, he's my uncle technically speaking, it's the way my parents would've wanted it. I call him Uncle Moony. My parents were murdered, Remus won't tell me the whole truth until I'm old enough. The same goes for my brother. The only thing he has told me is that my brother was there the night our parents were murdered, I wasn't, I was with our Godfather. Also, my brother lives with our mum side's of the family, who are muggles. As for my Godfather? Who knows, Remus said he'll tell me when I'm 16, because apparently, I'll be ready then. Entering my first year at Hogwarts things have changed drastically. Since stepping into Hogwarts, I've been in his shadow. The missing piece I felt for the 11 years of my life. I never knew he was my brother, never knew that was my last name. I was there with the Golden Trio for all their adventures, yet he got all the glory. I don't want any, I just want some recognition as well, since I helped. Now it's my and Harry's third year at Hogwarts. And it so happens Sirius Black has escaped and is after Harry. It doesn't add up. Just before my birthday, the school year, and the craziness that lasts for the following year Remus decides to finally trust me and tell me who my Godfather is. But is he my Godfather? Am I going to spend another year in Harry's shadow? Or is it finally my time to live and shine? *takes place in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban* All characters you recognize including most of the plot, all rights go to JK Rowling.
