"No one suspects children." Since the Cold War children have been used by the U.S. and Russian governments to commit acts of war. Assassinations, coups, etc... Filled with nanotech to improve their skills these "orphans" do their duty as expendable pawns. But Susanna is different. Considered a defect but she is fought for by her "father" to continue to be an operative.
Now there is a new threat to America, a series of unique bombings that only the "Orphans" can manage, while old foes may be raising their heads.
This is a very rough draft of a story that's kinda...moved down the list of importance. But I love the characters and world, and wanted them to continue to breathe. So depending on this does here I may jump back in to finish the work at some point.

SOOO we obviously didn't make the deadline lol. This story is unfinished and will remain that way. This is the best example of a rushed concept with no actual plot lol. In an effort to find himself a Luna he begins to court the Alpha King's daughter. How will it turn out for the soon to be 20 year old Alpha of Ice Winters Pack? Add to that a misogynistic, power hungry Grandfather and a war with the hunters you get Bane's story. The first few chapters line up with the beginning of my book "The First Princess". I like Bane and thought his story was worth telling so enjoy another side story! Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you.
