This is a short poem that is based around memories. Memories that have had an impact on my life, causing me to write this poem. Memories that have made my life hell yet shown me that they will affect my present and future, regardless of how much i want to get rid of some. But i guess that’s the purpose of memories right? To have an impact on our lives, but for the right purpose right? -.-.-.-.- This poem will express my feelings and thoughts, of when i went through a stage of depression and stress, regarding 'memories'. Abroad
The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. Thoughts And Excerpts. || #Wattys2018

Words by Hazyfantazy
Throughout my life, words have been everything. I write with them to ease my own mind and also use them to comfort others. The title is very much reflective of the time during which I wrote these. Hazyfantazy, a nickname given to me by friends at the time, seemed important to include in the title, as it highlighted a time in my life where writing was a great solace and also a joy and whilst in some ways I feel I have very much outgrown her, as I have the friends who originated the name, she made me who I am today. I decided to put all of these together in one place, as felt they worked best as a collective and also so that I can revisit them from time to time. I originally intended to add to them, however after reading them and revisiting a lot of memories, it became apparent that anything I write from this day forth, would feel like they were written by a different me. I think I would be better starting a new journey with anything new that I write. Some of the pieces are personal and very reflective of the anxiety issues and panic attacks that plagued my late 20's and early 30's. Others are very much fictional written in the style of personal experience. To anyone who takes the time to read any of my poems, I thank you. Your time is precious and I appreciate any that's given and if you hit the little vote button too, you have my everlasting gratitude ❤️. I am looking forward to writing, for the first time in a long time and for now bid farewell to Hazyfantazy, you were one hell of a rollercoaster ride.Complete
Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger.
