But when she got to school and into her homeroom, there was a new kid sitting beside her. She talks to him and they become friends. It turns out his life is similar to hers, but she's too afraid to tell him about her rough life. Ocean is best friends with the new kids. he helps her through extremely tough times throughout the book. She goes through ups and downs. and he is always there for her. No matter what he never leaves her side.
