Gemma is a girl who can't remember anything before age ten. She thanks her kidnapping experience for that. The trauma from her experience has left her allergic to human touch and in defense, she pushes everyone around her away. When the last person on earth that she could possibly want to show up does, Gemma gets thrown into a tangle of crime she wanted nothing to do with. Without wanting to, they uncover Gemma's horrific past and discover that she's more than capable of what she thinks she is. And not in a good way.
