I didn't know what to do. The only thing I knew was that I was surrounded by the thoughts that tormented me as a child. And then I saw him. The thing I had been seeing... "YOU AREN'T REAL!" I began to cover my ears and rock myself back and forth for comfort. I had been cornered with no escape; a stream of salty warm tears that irritated my skin ran down my face. Then he came closer. "LEAVE ME ALONE," I warned, "DONT YOU DARE COME CLOSER!" By then I tried to find a way around him knowing: he wouldn't stop. ••• Beth's past makes her eternally afraid of her blood father, yet she never understood why her body would scream caution signals around him. She deals with this questioning feeling for most of her teen years, until she finds a thoughtful piece of information. And instead of burying it inside, thinking it as another superstition of her mind, decides to go hunting for the answers to her unspoken wonders.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)
