I am currently rewriting this, but feel free to give this draft a read :D
Shadow's world is turned upside down when she found out her grandmother died. Her grandmother was like her second parent, a replacement for her dad who died before she was born.
But then, on one fateful day, Shadow brings home a mirror and a storybook home from her grandmother's house, after she found a hidden note telling her to take it. After her grandmother's funeral, Shadow trips and falls into the mirror, taking her best friend, Alex, along with her.
Now they find themselves in a new universe called Euphoria, in a kingdom known as Abesa.
Shadow and Alex find they are apart of an old legend of Abesa and that they were destined to come there and save it from swirling into the darkness.
Nothing will ever be the same.

But luckily, some of her neighbors knew her situation and would make small helps. But despite that, her situation only made her more depressed. Knowing her parents won't come back for her anymore. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Complete
