A potential agri world lost for a millennia due to a warp storm has now reappeared. A light cruiser was dispatched to investigate the planet but it wasn't long before tragedy struck. Now a lone Imperial Guardsman must find a way to survive and ultimately return to Imperium controlled territory. Will he be able to return to the Imperium or will he find something else?

Lifetime of war
In the grim future of the 41st millennium, the galaxy knows only war. As both Chaos and Tyranids' threats intensify, countless worlds are destined to fall. Simultaneously, the once galaxies rulers - Eldars, are crumbling, weakened by their own low population, division, and consequences of their own past sins. The Imperium still vigilantly stands. However, its armies are dwindling, outmatched or outnumbered by numerous enemies. Is it the end? Is there no salvation for these races? Perhaps there is. Maybe, the boredom and pettiness will bore a key to that? Maybe, something stirrers in the Immaterium that would change the setting?

However, he is not alone, for men of iron walk the planet, and as he comes to learn more about the robotic population, his faith will be tested and he'll be forced to make heretical choices to survive. Warhammer 40k: a long journey
Questions often do not produce answers, the curiosity behind it is what motivates the progress to search for them. That's why he's so curious about everything. Why? Why is he here? why did they bring him to life? why is he so different from the other? Sometimes, he wondered about it, he wanted to ask his father, the Emperor...but maybe, maybe he doesn't need to. A story of a "man" who has no other choice but to fight and suffer alongside his people throughout history. Will the endless cruelty of the universe subdued him? Will the boundless madness of the dark gods and creatures of the warps break him down? He doesn't know, in fact, he doesn't know a single answer...but right now, it doesn't matter to him anymore. The galaxy is still burning, Tasks are at hand and will he be able to finish his father's wish? He'll find out on a long journey.
