Kanika is a member of the Guild, a group of the most notorious criminals in all of Udor. Endana is a Virtuoso, a trusted adviser to the ruler of the Udor, the Anax.

When news comes to the Anax that Maxim Brevil, the most dangerous man in the Guild, has returned, everyone is alert. Not long after, Endana hears he is preparing for an assault against the Empire and she scrambles to find a way to defeat him.

But her search leads her to the one place she won't go. The very thing that can stop Maxim Brevil lies in the hidden home of Kanika, her sister and greatest nemesis.

Desperate to find a way, Endana finds the one person who can find and break into Kanika's home, a previous Guild member, and a most notorious thief.
