Suddenly he's caught in the middle of action when all he wanted was peace and quiet, his humble village in danger, and only he can save it. -- Trigger/content warning for a little bit of blood/gore and self-sacrificial feelings. I didn't go too far with either because I cannot handle gore or want to make you upset, just enough for the plot. If you've read Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice or Brotherband Chronicles (both for tweens and without any TW's that I know of) and been okay, you should be perfectly fine here.
