In these pages, the world is both light and heavy-sometimes in the same breath. This is a catch-call collection of my own poetry, prose and/or lyrics that I've accumulated over the years that I related to and enjoyed writing and re-writing. Theodore Vales 🌸 Do you really hate each other? Because I don't think you do. I've seen hatred before. It is clean. Sharp. Cold. What you two have is anything but. It is fire, restless and consuming. It is tension so thick the air trembles when you walk into the same room. It is silence heavy with everything unsaid, every word buried because neither of you knows how to bleed without drawing blood. And yet-when you reach for me, both of you, your hands brush too close. Your eyes flicker not just to me but to each other, even if only for a second. You think I don't notice, but I do.
