Everybody knows 13 Reasons Why. Everyone knows about Hannah Baker, the emotional teenager who killed herself without anyone's knowledge why. Everyone payed their respects to her after her death. Even random people she hadn't known.

But the person who was mostly grieving? Clay Jenson. He and Hannah had a close friendship. he had a crush on her and used to work at the movie theaters with her. But Clay Jensen didn't understand why. Why had the love of his life ended her life at such a young age?

Then he recieves the tapes. The tapes that reveal the truth behind her tragic choice. He listened to them all. All of it. Every single one.

After he had turned in the tapes to the school after keeping the tapes a secret... along with the rest of the people who were involved in the tapes and were the cause of Hannah's death. He remembered, the night before, when he almost jumped off a cliff, and Tony stopped him. He had asked Tony, that... if he had told her he loved her the night when he and Hannah almost had sex at Jessica's party, she would of still been alive. Eating... breathing... walking.

He had felt so depressed and heartbroken. He made a girl kill herself because he was too afraid to love her.
