David looked away as he went over something in his mind. When he turned back his eyes had gone back to an icy blue. "Fine, but if I find out that you hid them from me I swear to the fucking devil I'll eat your heart."
"The children David!"
"Freaking devil. Find them!" He looked back over to Veronica. "Who is she anyway?"
"V-veronica," she stuttered out.
He gave a half-hearted snort, "That's a pretty name. Sorry if I scared you." He walked past them and the tail of his black trench coat brushed her leg. She could smell a musky cologne and cigarette smoke from the breeze that followed him. A few seconds later, after Max had run out of breath from apologizing, she could hear a motorcycle engine roar to life. It was then, right then at that moment, that she knew God did exist. And she fell in love.

"Stay away from me," I warned hopelessly, earning a chuckle from him. In a matter of seconds I was pinned against the wall and his hands were wrapped possessively around my waist. "My sweet little Rosalie. We both know I can never stay away. Why do you even bother resisting?" He whispered into my ears whilst his fingers snuck under my shirt, his touch leaving a trail of goosebumps across my waist. I sucked in a breath and bit my lip, paralyzed from the dilemma of wanting more and needing to save myself. "I want you Rosalie. I've never wanted anything more," he sighed and then he bit my earlobe. I resisted the urge to moan as he fisted my hair tilting my head back leaving my neck exposed to him. He stared at me with lustful eyes. "I'm going to break your life apart piece by piece like a jigsaw puzzle and then I'll get rid of all those other pieces until all you're left with is me," he mumbled greedily as he devoured my neck with kisses. I arched my back desperate for his touch even though I knew it wouldn't last. In a state of euphoria I asked him the question I already knew the answer to. "And then what?" I whispered hoarsely. "And then I'll give you what you want. I'll kill you." *** All Rosalie wanted for her senior year was to lay low, score the highest marks and to get out of there as soon as possible unscathed. "What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold.
