Follow four teens in their junior year of high school as they attend one of the best boarding schools for the performing arts in the country: Cordelia Boarding School for the Performing Arts.

Piper McCain: Piper has been dancing every since she was four years old, and has been attending CBSPA ever since the eighth grade. She suffered a major setback in the end of her sophomore year, and is struggling to get back to performing again.

Brennan Williamson: Brennan has always been a laid-back kind of guy, though he always takes dancing very seriously. He auditioned for the boarding school in the eighth grade with his best friend, but failed to get in so he kept working harder until he got in for the ninth grade. He keeps working hard, but feels like everyone else is at a higher level than him.

Harmony Fleming: Harmony loves to sing. It's in her name after all, and she would do anything to be part of the showcase at the end of the year where selective students are chosen to perform their talents. She feels dejected every time she isn't chosen, but she feels like she will rise and be chosen before she graduates the following year.

Landon Lodge: Landon isn't used to performing, so it took him a long time to audition for the boarding school after his best friend was constantly telling him how amazing the school was. It wasn't until his grandmother started getting very sick and told him to start living his life that he decided to audition. After making into the school, he doesn't feel like he fits in.
