I have always dreamed about leaving this place, to go out in the world, to meet new people, to travel a lot, and most importantly- to change.

To change myself, my way of thinking, my view on other people and the world. Living as a foreigner from Europe in the United States of America is hard. Meeting new friends and distancing yourself from your old ones is even harder. 

And falling in love? Don't get me started. Hi I'm Lea and I am a exchange student.

Everything I write here is from MY personal experience. That means not everyone has to relate to this. HOWEVER

I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
