I fell to my knees crying as I watched the home I grew up with all the memories of my father reading to me and my mother teaching me how to cook. I watched, I watched as it all went up in violent colors of red, yellow and orange. My mother pulled me up by my arms "let's go Jess it's gone now, we can make new memories now, the old ones will lie in your heart dear child, we need to go!" We started running again to the metro tracks.

This is a mature book. It has themes of Sex, BDSM, Violence, Murder, Self-Harm, Mind Control, and Torture. Reader discretion is advised. *****This has been edited from the original story (Previously Auras) ***** Aurora was a normal college student working towards a business degree until she went to a party that changed her life. Everyone she knew and cared about was murdered in a twisted idea of fun, she was the only survivor. Quickly dumped into a world of supernatural Aurora must find her place despite the fact a possessive werewolf seems to want to tell her what to do. Can she adjust or will she crumble under the pressure? Excerpt: The screams and cries for help faded while silent tears continued to stream down her face. Her hands were slapped over her mouth to muffle any noise that escaped her quivering lips. She wasn't sure how long she was in that pantry but couldn't come out until she was beyond certain that they had left. For a moment, she started to have hope that maybe they wouldn't be able to find her, but a voice spoke up, and fear flooded in once again. "You cleared out the upstairs, too, right?" "Yeah." Another voice responded. There was a slight pause, "Hmm. Then where is that heartbeat coming from, I wonder." His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. "Little Birdy," he stretched out his hand, "come out to play."

WARNING VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED THERE IS DEPICTIONS OF TORTURE, ABUSE, SEX, AND DEATH. THERE IS FOUL LANGUAGE AND GANG RELATED DETAILS. NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 18! I've never wrote a story before so please be kind and bare with me! If you stick around, you will see this complex story turn into an action packed romance that leaves you craving more! ************************************************** This is my story. My name is Jemma; though the select few know me as Ruby Rose. Dumb nickname if you ask me, but that's what I get for marking my murders with a single blood cover rose. What can I say I've got a little bit of class. Well anyways, that's not important right now. This is my origin story. How I went from a sweet innocent women struggling to make ends meet to a merciless killer for the head mafia family Terravino. I've now got 2 families and 2 lives. Both full of love and tainted red by the blood I've shed. Trauma is what started it all... As I lay there in her arms, under the giant oak tree, I could see the red and blue lights glistening off the leaves above me creating an ocean of red and blues. My ears were still ringing from the gun shots. So everything was quiet. I felt the weight of the gun slip from my hand and land on the soft grass next to us. I tilted my head towards Anya's face. Streams of tears and bloody snot ran down her beaten and bruised face. I thought to myself; "This isn't right! I can't die here. Not in front of her! I can hold on longer, I have to."

{COMPLETED} This is my first story, so only constructive criticism, please. Also, there's no smut. Sorry not sorry. I ain't writing that shit. Also also, there's probably gonna be some gore, but that's to be expected. I'll keep the character pretty gender neutral, but I'm personally a demigirl so forgive me if the character seems a bit feminine at times. ◊◊◊ You're a pretty average person. Your parents are divorced, but that's not really unique. You're kinda pessimistic, some venture to call you "depressed" or "emo", but everybody goes through that phase. ◊◊◊ "Can't you just leave me alone for one night?" I snap. His laughs only fuel my rage. "I'm here to help you - Can't you see that?" he soothes. I just glare at him. "Yeah, making me kill a guy and driving me insane is real 'helpful'. Thanks." The demon shakes his head. "You don't understand, yet. I'm freeing you from the prison that is your conscience." "No, thanks. I like not being a sociopath." "Do you?"
