But high school is not an easy phase for both of them. Between Jasper the bully and Lapis' homophobic mother, things are gonna get messy. Peridot will stand for her rights and protect the girl she loves. But is she sure everything will work out great between the two ? This story was slightly inspired by the song "La Da Dee" by Cody Simpson. Story first published around June 24th of 2017. Last published: July 31th of 2017.

I added some changes,like how Lapis and Peridot stay together after their children die unlike Toriel and Asgore,but fall into a dark spiral (not literally) and turn into literal gems like in Steven universe and become a fusion. About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. (This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon. The cover art is by me. The pictures on the separate chapters are screenshots/gifs from the show itself. All characters in this book so far belong to Steven Universe, the TV show.
