Vincent Halden, by all accounts, was the most nihilistic optimist to walk the earth. He often found himself plagued by his own inability to "human", and was soon engrossed by the notion he had drawn up that humans, despite having some good qualities, were but mere specks, and over all dispensable. Upon coming to terms with this conclusion, he killed himself at the ripe age of sixty-four; one week after bumping into the girl that would consume his afterlife.

Was her essence so strong that it left some sort of residual web, something he couldn't quite shake, despite having cut ties with his own body? Their connection was brief, cordial, insignificant. So what was it that left him feeling sticky, and why did it always tie back to her?

All Vincent knows is that unless he wishes to be stuck in limbo forever, he has to find out.
