They had battled everything they could think of - robotic space creatures from another universe, an evil man with relation to the team, their own neighbors and coworkers, a power-hungry machine, and worst of all, themselves. There was nothing the Avengers hadn't tackled except the challenge ahead of them - separation. When Nick Fury comes knocking on everyone's door with a new world threat, it's no shock he's ignored, so he sends in the least likely ally anyone could imagine - Grace Waller. It's her mission to not only rebuild a broken team, but to save the world (once again) from its impending doom. What easier way to catch several fish at once, than to use a fish net?

This takes place following the events of CACW, approximately a year afterwards. The Avengers are still shambled and on different sides, despite being a "team".
All characters belong to their rightful owners and creators. I only claim new characters being introduced, such as Grace Waller.

Elizabeth Marie Rogers is the sister of Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America. She was taken by Hydra right after Steve went in the ice. She doesn't remember any of this. Now that she is free, her memory starts to return. She remembers Steve, being taken by Hydra, she even remembers the love of her life and his funeral. She realizes that the Winter Soldier is Bucky, the love of her life. She has to save him, I mean she does owe him her life. She turns to the last people she wants to, the Avengers. The Avengers don't know if they should help her, since they just finished Ultron and since she is a highly-trained, world-known, Grade A assassian. Steve begs them to help. They agree but don't trust her. They save Bucky and see who he was and who she was. They then ask them to join the Avengers. Bucky declines the offer, wanting to live a normal life, but Elizabeth doesn't know if she should join her her brother, fighting evil with her unnatural powers, or stay with Bucky, living a sort of normal life. Who will she choose? She loves them both and doesn't want to leave them. She can't decide, but with this Civil War, she won't have to. Tony doesn't want to work with her, but Steve still wants her help. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This book takes place after Age of Ultron and goes into Civil War.
