Caine is a beast tamer, but he doesn't know it. He's the son of a business man, living the "dream" in LA. His path of violence and gangs lead him to murdering a supposedly innocent man. For his crime, he is sent to an asylum, after repeatedly stating his crime was innocent, leading lawyers to believe he is possibly insane. Caine, being perfectly sane has no plans of staying in that retched place. He finds a way to communicate with an isolated patient, apparently very dangerous. Over time Caine learns this may not be a mental asylum after all. They know about his true potential...
