Sometimes at night we are all a little bit sad, a little bit lonely, at little bit broken, but tonight with her scent of cinnamon and her taste of mint, Harry felt desperate, he felt consumed by pain and anger and shame, and he allowed her to fuel his soul with an all-consuming fire that he had once loved and adored and longed for.

But not tonight.

Tonight, in the arms of lost love, he realized that he was desperate for the scent of violets and the taste of chocolate, that he longed for the way his mind and heart felt at peace with HER, and instead he held harder to the girl in front of him, trying to make himself believe that he could love her like he had done before.

Because tonight, Harry guessed that the best way to get over a broken heart was finding another lonely soul to spend the night.
